The Valley Breeze: Funding to House of Hope will go to Pawtucket homeless village

PAWTUCKET - The award of a 2021 Champion in Action designation and funding last week to House of Hope Community Development Corporation will help make Pawtucket's proposed emergency remedy for homelessness a reality, say those at the agency.

“We will be using the funding to help stand up ECHO Village,” said Executive Director Laura Jaworski of the funds to be used to create temporary housing structures for homeless Pawtucket residents on a yet-to-be-named parcel of city land.
