EAST PROVIDENCE — Every Thursday at 11 a.m., barring meetings and vacations, Johanna Corcoran makes her way to the Rumford Motor Inn.
Doors open as she pulls her Kia Soul into the parking lot and pops the trunk, revealing eight boxes loaded with yogurt, cherry tomatoes, sandwich fixings, salad greens — food to tide over people who are making the motel their home after finding themselves homeless.
