FHLBB: Advisory Council Nominations

Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (the Bank) is now accepting nominations to fill vacancies on its 2020 Advisory Council to represent Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The four vacant seats will be filled by individuals actively involved in providing or promoting housing and community lending in in their respective states.

Advisory Council members are appointed for three-year terms. The Advisory Council is comprised of at least two representatives from each of the six New England states along with at least two rotating seats that are filled from among the executive directors (or their designee) of the six state housing finance agencies or the six state departments of housing and/or community development.

The Affordable Housing Program regulation requires the Bank to maintain an Advisory Council comprised of individuals who reside in the Bank's district and are drawn from community nonprofit and for-profit organizations actively involved in providing or promoting low- and moderate-income housing and community lending in the district.
