Ribbon Cutting in Providence

On Monday, March 11th at 11 a.m., Omni Development Corporation, WinnDevelopment and their community partners welcome U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Governor Lincoln Chafee to a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony for Phoenix Apartments in Providence.
Phoenix Apartments will soon be home for 83 families in the West End. These multi-family properties, many of which were in foreclosure, are being renovated as part of a neighborhood revitalization strategy. Green, energy-saving building techniques were utilized, and two buildings are part of National Grid's Deep Energy Retrofit (DER) program.

The speaking program will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch immediately following along with tours of 523 and 570 Cranston Street.
